Haven't we all at one point or the other in our lives earnestly wondered what God's will was for our lives? Granted, it was probably for a situation that is not spelled out as such in God's Word. However, for every such situation there are hundreds of clear expressions of what God's will is in our day-to-day lives! This blog is a compilation of the clear-cut will of God I encounter as I go through the Bible.

... I ACKNOWLEDGE Him in all my ways
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
(Proverbs 3:6 NKJV)
... I be THANKFUL all the time
Give thanks in every situation because this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
(1 Thessalonians 5:18 Common English Bible)
... I REJOICE all the time
Rejoice always,
(1 Thessalonians 5:16)
"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!"
(Philippians 4:4)
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.
The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.
(Habakkuk 3:17-19)
... I be HOLY in every aspect of life
.., Be ye holy; for I am holy.
(1 Peter 1:16)
Leviticus 19:2
Common English Bible (CEB)
2 Say to the whole community of the Israelites: You must be holy, because I, the Lord your God, am holy.
Leviticus 19:2
Common English Bible (CEB)
1 Peter 1:15-17
Common English Bible (CEB)
15 you must be holy in every aspect of your lives, just as the one who called you is holy. 16 It is written,You will be holy, because I am holy. 17 Since you call upon a Father who judges all people according to their actions without favoritism, you should conduct yourselves with reverence during the time of your dwelling in a strange land.
Positionally, the believer IS holy because of the new nature within. De facto, it is Jesus living in us through His Holy Spirit. So we have been "set apart" by God as holy.
Since He has set us apart, He now says "Live it!", that is, live a holy life "practically". In other words -> "Constantly say 'No' to sin when it presents itself to us to commit. Instead, yield to the Holy Spirit within us to help us obey God's principles as laid down in His Word".
Example: You are tempted to tell a lie to get out of a bind. You WILL make a choice. If you tell the truth, you made the choice to be holy, as God commands.
THAT, is practical holiness, nl. saying NO to the one and YES to the other.
IN ORDER TO LIVE A HOLY LIFE, WE NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO SAY "YES" TO. WE NEED TO KNOW AND APPLY GOD'S WORD. There are no IFs and/or BUTs about it!
... I be FILLED with His SPIRIT all the time
15 So be careful to live your life wisely, not foolishly. 16 Take advantage of every opportunity because these are evil times.17 Because of this, don’t be ignorant, but understand the Lord’s will. 18 Don’t get drunk on wine, which produces depravity. Instead, be filled with the Spirit in the following ways: 19 speak to each other with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; sing and make music to the Lord in your hearts; 20 always give thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 21 and submit to each other out of respect for Christ.
(Ephesians 5:15-21 Common English Bible)
